In March of 2020 we mail-ordered 20 Buff Orpington chickens, 10 hens and 10 rooster/hen mix. We got 21 of them - 16 hens and 5 roosters. They hatched 5/10/2020 and arrived 5/12/2020. They had never eaten or drank when we got them but they picked that up right away, The free chicken we got is a runt with yellow legs instead of white and we named her Drumstick. She is a little weird but probably the most tame of them all.

When they were about a month old and ready for the chicken house with a heat lamp. We build a little back porch for the chicken house so they could go outside during the day:
